Ellen Pompeo recently gave birth to a baby boy. But if you missed it, it's not you fault. After all, it wasn't until the Grey's Anatomy star and her music producer husband Chris Ivery were spotted on a Los Angeles hike with their daughter Stella Luna that the world realized the couple had a third child.
Pompeo is ready to introduce her fans to baby Eli Christopher now though, and he is as adorable as expected. Pompeo shared the first picture of him on her Instagram today, writing, "Chris Ivery just fell a notch...I've got a new guy." Judging by the picture, it doesn't look like Ivery has anything to worry about though. The image shows Pompeo's husband lovingly cuddling baby Eli Christopher. The smiles on both of their faces might have you grabbing the nearest box of tissues, because the two together pretty much define the word adorable. (Talk about father-son goals!)

Eli Christopher joins 7-year-old sister Stella, as well as 2-year-old Sienna May. The last time Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery had a child, Sienna May, they welcomed her into the world with a surrogate. "This is an incredible thing to do with your life, to give the gift of carrying someone's child," Pompeo said of the surrogacy on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in October of 2014. "I am forever grateful and feel very blessed and grateful to her—she who will remain anonymous," she said at the time. "I was there with her when they inseminated her, and we held hands. I looked into the microscope and I saw the embryo. I saw the baby, and they put it in a thingy, and they inseminated her. And then we held hands, and we prayed, we talked to God, and if she was meant to be. He said he was going to try to help us out, and now we have a gorgeous baby girl."
A rep for Pompeo and Ivery told Us Weekly of their new baby's birth, "Family and baby are all doing great." Other details have been released about the birth of Eli Christopher, but, in the meantime, congratulations to the new-again parents, who have a lot of love to celebrate!
