    Lakers News: LA Legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Rushed to Hospital After Suffering Significant Injury

    This morning we learned that Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had to be rushed to the hospital after he suffered what was a nasty spill. 

    According to TMZ Sports, Jabbar had been attending a concert and took a fall, shattering his hip. Jabbar's representative, Deborah Morales told the publication that Jabbar is "deeply appreciative" of the care that he has received from paramedics and the hospital staff. 

    Jabbar is currently at UCLA Hospital receiving care for the injury that he sustained from the fall. There is no further information about who or what concert the Lakers legend was seeing. 

    Jabbar is currently 76 years old. Falling at that age is always dangerous, especially considering he has broken his hip. Thankfully, that is the only injury he has sustained from the fall. 

    We wish the best for Jabbar and hope for a speedy recovery for the man.
