"Girl in Fonni's costume"
the traditional costume of Fonni "Central Sardinia" worn by this beautiful girl, is embroidered and very colorful, in this painting the artist has interpreted it as an ancient portrait of a black and white photo, experimenting with different materials creating a background with recycled materials type cardboard and pieces of hessian sackcloth with texture of different thickness applied on mdf panel… Painted with acrylic spatula and brush on a harsh and demanding surface to be left exposed.
