  Dutch Soul Pop singer songwriter, Alain Clark, immediately brings to the table a stunning vibe of story telling, accompanied by the house grand piano, in this intimate room, complete with chandeliers, and bedside table lamps, dimly lighting this beautiful room. I feel as though I’m in a stately home! This audience are polite and tentative watching Alain Clark doing what he does best in this stunning batch of soul pop. He has a stunning tenor tone, with fantastic diction, making every song very easy to follow. It’s great to just close your eyes and imagine what he was thinking when he wrote each song. One of the highlights for me is when he performs the song “Back in my World” which inspires this audience to clap and click along to this mid tempo song, featuring some fantastic jazz and soul textures. “Dancing in the Street” brings the vibe even further up, with some people leaving their seats for a little bit of a dance, definitely worth the watch live.
