If there’s one thing UNIQLO knows how to do — aside from amazing basics — is killer collabs. From anime collections to high fashion team-ups with the likes of Theory and JW ANDERSON, the retailer never misses. On May 26, UNIQLO has another great drop in store. This time, in collaboration with Italian luxury brand MARNI.
For their first-ever collaboration, Uniqlo and MARNI have teamed up to create the epitome of fashion fun — featuring the bold colors and prints MARNI is known in wearable silhouettes UNIQLO shoppers love. The UNIQLO x MARNI SS22 collection spans both menswear and womenswear with prices ranging from $12.90–$179.90. It will be available at select UNIQLO stores and online at uniqlo.com.
“I’ve been hugely excited about this collaboration since the start,” MARNI Creative Director Francesco Risso said in a press email. “Throughout the whole process, we have always championed UNIQLO’s ethos and the integrity that lie behind the brand’s vision, giving our interpretation of UNIQLO’s LifeWear through a slightly out-of-the-box proposition that combines impeccably crafted clothes with MARNI’s offbeat and life-embracing spirit.”

One thing about me, I will never ever say no to a cute overshirt — that’s why I have my eye on the printed shirt from Marni’s Uniqlo collab. Not only it is a fun print, but it is also the perfect shape. During summer, I often throw on a fun shirt like these over a plain white tank top and some linen shorts to protect my shoulders from the sun and *add a little bit of spice* to an otherwise plain ‘fit. And, because, I'm a sucker for prints and slouchy 'fits, I also have my eye on the Relaxed Plaid Wide-Fit Pants, which are 100% cotton and perfect for summer. (Maybe with the matching shirt, too? Still deciding that!)

IMO, there's nothing better than a statement jacket. I can't wait to snatch up the BLOCKTECH Oversized Half Coat (in Navy) from the Uniqlo x Marni collection. I love the color blocking and the cut of the hood. A piece that's easy to dress up and easy to dress down is a double win in my book.

I looooove stripes and the different stripe sizes on the front and back make this Uniqlo X Marni tee fun and a different piece from the other ones in my closet. I have also been really into pants recently and the Wide-Fit Pleated Pants are fun but still feel neutral to me. I also love the shape of them – nice and baggy! Lastly, everyone knows I love a good everyday jacket so the Oversized Utility Jacket is definitely one of my top picks. What can I say? I love pockets!!!!
