Erica Ortiz
ERICA ORTIZ (Director) is a Mexican-American Writer and Director. Her professional career began right before receiving her BFA in Film/Video at CalArts in 2015. In 2016 her short film MS. MATCH received special recognition at West Hollywood Women’s Leadership Conference and was the closing night film at LA Shorts Festival. Currently, she writes and directs short films and music videos in Los Angeles.
Matisse Rose Haddad
MATISSE ROSE HADDAD (Writer/Producer/Actor) completed her BFA in Theater Arts at Boston University. Upon graduating, she created, performed, and produced AN INTRODUCTION TO HEAT TRANSFER, a touring play that addressed the intimacy of female friendship and the often painful journey from adolescence to adulthood. She then created, wrote, produced, and starred in the web series DEFECTIVES, exploring the ups and downs of falling in love while struggling with mental illness. She is passionate about creating work that challenges our understanding of women’s issues, gender expression, and love. Most recently, Matisse can be seen in a recurring role in the Netflix series THE SOCIETY.
Jessica Ornstein
JESSICA ORNSTEIN (Producer) was most recently Executive Producer of the feature film AIRPLANE MODE, starring 23 of the world’s top social media influencers with a collective following of over 500 million. Before moving into producing and film financing, Jessica worked in venture capital in Berlin and investment banking in Los Angeles. She graduated from USC with a degree in International Relations and Business.
Melissa Purner
MELISSA PURNER (Producer) is a producer with a background in traditional and digital programming. She is a graduate of The USC School of Cinematic Arts. Melissa has spent time working in development at MTV Networks, WME, Herzog & Company, and helped launch the digital studio at Endemol USA. Most recently she was a transmedia producer on HBO’s BALLERS. In addition to consulting clients regarding content creation and digital media strategy, Melissa continues to work on new projects through her company On The MAP Entertainment.
