A gold pistol made for Hermann Goering is to be auctioned next month with an estimated sale price of $250,000-$400,000.

Goering handed it personally to Lieutenant Jerome Shapiro, an Orthodox Jew from Brooklyn, to whom he surrendered in May 1945 after the Nazi defeat.
