At Café Brecht, you will feel at ease the second you step inside. Relax in one of the café's old-fashioned, comfortable chairs. It's almost as if you are sitting in your family's living room. The café is named after German writer, poet and director Eugen Berthold Friedrich (Bertolt) Brecht, and the theme is centered on the German culture. Café Brecht serves lunch, cakes and snacks and uses many local products, including cheeses, juices and wines. The beer is quite special, though. You will find Budweiser Budvar on tap and other beers, such as Jever, Berliner, Staropramen, Schlenkerla, Chateau Neubourg, Rothaus Tannenzäpfle, Augustiner and Köstritzer, by the bottle. Be sure to also check the agenda. Sometimes Café Brecht hosts concerts, plays or poetry readings. Be aware the cafe does not accept reservations. Vintage furnishings decorate this Berlin-style living-room cafe serving German beers & light bites. Dutch, Cafe, Pub, Bar, European. Approx cost for two people Rs 2,000.

I loved this place! Their beer selection is huge and they also have really tasty food. The ambiance = cozy, dim lights, full, velvety, small, charming clutter. Perfect little spot for drinks with friends or even to come alone!

Super nice place! Great beers, very affordable and tasty piadinas. The staff is really friendly and helpful too. I especially loved their vintage furniture and wallpapers, creating a very homey feeling. I will definitely come back soon!
