I know that DHL take good care of their business customers. But as an individual it's a nightmare. I am paying extra for express service to ensure that my package is delivered next day. I went to 2 service points before around 16.45 and 16.58 at both locations they told me that they do t know if the DHL will pick up the package today or not. So to find a location where they would be sure (or even bring the parcel to the sorting center) I called the DHL Express customer service. Turns out now you need to pay. 0.80 eur per minute. The robo lady on the phone tells you that you will be served within 2 minutes - Thats a long waiting time for a paid number, but ok - I could suck it up. But I ended up waiting for 20 minutes to speak to someone and on top of that they refused to help me, they said that someone will call back within 15 min and I have been now waiting for 15 min.
What kind of joke is this? And since when DHL is in business of making money from phone calls? Cause I believe you don't pay your call center employees 45 EUR per hour.
