Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. A gift was sent to me from Bahrain to Slovenia. Dhl contacted me on 21.2., now 4 emails later (that i answered within hours, except for 1, which i needed a day, since i needed to contact the sender) we are on 1.3. and i still haven't received the shipment. The sender valued the item shipped at 15 dollars and i needed to pay 26 euros worth of customs and duties which is ridiculous and dumb to me.

Expensive and horrendous customer service.

Bad and very expensive customer service. Extremely disappointed!
Forgot an item in Slovenia, requested someone to drop the item on my behalf at the DHL collection point (44€ charged to send an item smaller than 5x5cm, 200g) and afterwards I received a notification asking me to pay 55£ plus, on top of it. Immediately called customer service which promptly picked up the call and said was passing my complaint to the right department. So far I haven’t heard from them, neither a confirmation email with above. This pm decided to call the same contact and keeps hanging up for unknown reason. Tried WhatsApp option and not available. How do expect me to contact you?!

Dysfunction, Unprofessional, Lazy.

Dysfunctional, Unprofessional, Lazy. My parcel was on hold on Clearance Event for 2+ days and nobody even bothered to get in touch with me to let me know about it. When I contacted them myself they said that they need my email and phone number so that the customs department could clarify some info. Question. Don't they have this information already? Email and phone are compulsory fields when buying their service so why on earth they couldn't just look it up themselves within their own company and instead opted in for just waiting until the recipient contacts them first? Useless service! I couldn't believe the negligence until I saw their reviews here. It all makes sense now.

The worst experience ever with courier…

The worst experience ever with courier services. A pick-up planned on Friday for express delivery on Monday. Package was not picked up, after "begging" to fulfill the service they arrived on Thursday with delivery in Friday. And no refund, because it was delivered...... A real NO GO! They offer a voucher for another delivery, but I will never ever use them again. I want my money back!!

Never use GLS because they are…

Never use GLS because they are incompetent. This courier phoned. Asked. Found. The package was delivered on time. The driver was professional, spoke Italian and I can only say how HAPPY I AM
Non usare mai GLS sono ladri. Invece DHL sono fantastici!

My collection was cancelled as the…

My collection was cancelled as the courier couldn't make it within the specified window. I was directed to my closest Service Point which was closed, and then couldn't reschedule the collection. I had to call multiple times and I never managed to reschedule as the line would drop during the call and they couldn't help me in the live chat. I paid 48 euros to have an envelope sent, and nevertheless it was such a difficult and frustrating task to arrange.

Four other delivery companies found the…

Four other delivery companies found the building in Naples Italy with the address provided, DHL were baffled, or could not be bothered. Thereafter they were given a screen shot of google maps with the building circled and DHL expressed thanks and announced it would go the next day. It did not. Rather the next day they said “tomorrow”. But in the morrow they announced “we have filled the vans and so tomorrow”. When that new tomorrow came nothing happened and a telephone call was met with the recorded message that they were on holiday. One would not expect a significant, if any, drop in customer service as DHL moved from US control to German control. I suppose the problem lies entirely with the Italian employees who are damaging the global reputation with nary a care in the world. Mind blowingly awful

Beyond frustrated - Rome DHL

Can’t even get a working # to get through to customer service agent to resolve. I have an AirTag in my luggage that shows it in the DHL service center I shipped it from. I’m going crazy in this loop that know one will lift a finger to resolve! Never use DHL! They are a horrible service that take your money & never return.

Worst experience I have ever…

Worst experience I have ever experienced! My parcel was meant to arrive with express delivery Wednesday and now they are telling me it will arrive Monday because they sent it to the wrong place! And they will not accept to send it special delivery even if willing to pay for it. Worse service ever!

Pathetic

My parcel has now spent five days in customs. I can't believe DHL does not have slick relationships with customs in every country they deliver to. Crap service! Do not use DHL.

Useless company No respect for client client On 1st June 2022 DHL Milan was supposed…

On 1st June 2022 DHL Milan was supposed to come and collect a return for Amazon. They quoted between 9am - 6pm for the pick up. The box was sealed and ready. The forms were printed. I waited all day and they never turned up nor gave any update nor phoned. Then when I phoned Amazon to report the non collection of the return they said it had been reported as no-one at home!!
It's the third time DHL has not turned up nor collected the packages. Absolutely the most irritating unreliable company. Highly recommend NOT to use DHL ever. I'm very angry because they wasted my time, reported a lie to Amazon, and never took the time to contact me.

BAD and Slow service

I have ordered some parts online from "Auto-Doc"
and it was send the same day from that their warehouse
BUT the DHL/BRT hold it for 4 days, until i start calling and
looking for it while Tracking no. says it was delivered already !!!!
later i found that there is a 2 euro charge pending that goes to a
known website."technologygiftclub"
I paid the shipping charge already to "Auto-Doc"
if there is a extra charge for delivery i would have pay
at the door with no problem,
why they hold the parcel so many days for 2 euro ?
I will Report this to the "Auto-Doc" because they have 2 more
company to deliver the goods for them.
and that secure website (to pay 2 euro),is not working and
somebody with private phone no. called me and ask me to pay it to
this strange link "technologygiftclub"

How can this company improve ?
Sell the company to some professional who knows how
to run it, and do not charge people under the table.

Highly disappointed, my application for a scholarship was nearly delayed because of their laziness.

Worst DHL in the history of couriers

I have sent a parcel of 1000 towels, they cleared 500 towels and told us to pay 450 euros which was crazy because the box was like 34 kg anyways, after that amazon told us they have received only 30 towels and we have no idea where is the rest
after two month DHL they told us we found another 500 pieces need to be cleared and you have to pay another 450 euros, we told them we have already missed the time frame to deliver them in amazon and why have you waited 60 days to discover there is another 500 pieces they mentioned we did not know to whom to send the notification

Bad service

They harass you with smss and emails, phone calls "what's in the package, email codice fiscale" was asked to pay customs fee online and then again when the parcel was delivered. Delivery man didn't have change, didn't leave a receipt, customer service says there's no proof of payment upon delivery.

Worse service and courier

Huge delay on the shipments! No update since it was picked up a week ago and when we called The customer service in Italy , service was very bad and also no one could locate where is the parcel.

They told us potentially the parcel might be lost and still waiting for update!

A courier service to avoid!

What a joke of a company they are

What a joke of a company they are! They sent me a message that the address is wrong, because the name of an ITALIAN city on the package was Milano, not Milan, as I found out it should be according to them.
That was enough to reschedule the delivery. And the customer service nonexistent. AVOID at all costs!

If you send any parcel to Italy with…

If you send any parcel to Italy with DHL you have to know that this is not going to go well...if you have anything like dried food, OTC creams, OTC anything it will be blocked by the customs people and you need to pay more money to get you parcel. Actually anything can be blocked it seems if coming from outside EU. First they tell you its coming then its suddenly blocked. SO dont waste your money....
