Jennifer Connelly’s game face is truly something to marvel at. Her husband certainly seems to think so.

The actor attended last weekend’s NBA playoff game in Brooklyn between the Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers, alongside her husband, Paul Bettany. Judging by a snap she shared to her Instagram, she was into it

“@brooklynnets jumbotron catching my good side,” she captioned a photo of herself, mid-bellow on the arena’s Jumbotron. She’s flanked in the pic by Bettany and their 11-year-old, Agnes. While Agnes is also yelling, they don’t look nearly as passionate as Connelly, who looks as if she believes that her own personal decibel level could propel the team to victory. (Spoiler: It didn’t; the Nets lost.) As for Bettany, the best word is…bemused. He has that nervous smile that says he’s been here before, “here” being “next to my screaming spouse at a sporting event while her face is projected on a giant screen, yes, hello.” His is the top comment on her Instagram post: “My god you were invested,” he wrote.

Is it that obvious? His facial expression seems to be proof that even after two decades of marriage, you can still continue to be surprised and perhaps delighted by your other half.

The cost for celebrities taking in a basketball game is often a Jumbotron appearance, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle awkwardly learned this week with a Kiss Cam spotlight so uncomfortable it may have been physically painful in Los Angeles this week.

Big stars, big screens. It makes you think, perhaps Connelly should add the moment to her audition reel—that scream looks worthy of an Oscar-caliber drama.
