374th Mission Support Group

Responsible to the 374th Airlift Wing commander for command, control and direction of support activities to 374th Airlift Wing and 32 tenant units to include Headquarters U.S. Forces Japan and 5th Air Force on Yokota Air Base. Provides security, communications and computer systems, information management, facilities and repair, logistics, contracting, people programs and quality of life for 11,000 military and civilians and over $4.3 billion in assets.

374th Force Support Squadron
Provides human resource and quality-of-life guidance, facilities and programs for 11,000 military, civilian and family members assigned to 5th Air Force, 374th Airlift Wing and 32 tenant organizations. Responsible for noncombatant evacuation operations, personnel deployment and accountability. Provides membership clubs, child development and youth programs, food service, lodging, library and training, sports and fitness, recreation and leisure activities, comprehensive readiness program, marketing and publicity, linen exchange and mortuary operations for the installation. Implements programs in military and civilian personnel, base training and education services, family support and Airman Leadership School flights.

374th Civil Engineer Squadron
Builds, maintains and repairs the airfield, facilities and infrastructure for the Western Pacific airlift hub. Provides engineering, fire protection, environmental, housing, disaster response and property management for a $4.3 billion, 4,000-acre installation including 12 satellite locations. Operates 2,639 housing units. Provides global expeditionary engineering. Trains wing and tenant personnel in nuclear, biological and chemical defense.

374th Communications Squadron
Ensures information superiority for U.S. Forces Japan, 5th Air Force, the 374th Airlift Wing and deployed forces throughout the Western Pacific. Provides information management, postal and multimedia services. Operates and maintains airfield and theater battle management systems. Sustains voice, data and long-haul communications for mainland Japan. Delivers joint high-frequency radio support for Presidential and other distinguished visitor travel.

374th Security Forces Squadron
Responsible for the protection of DoD facilities, equipment and aircraft worth $4.3 billion. Enforces standards for 11,000 military, civilians and dependents. Provides information security, confinement, combat arms training and liaison host-country police forces and other. Ensures readiness of mobility personnel for wartime missions. Provides Raven security teams for Pacific Air Forces and Air Mobility Command aircraft.

374th Contracting Squadron
Provides operational and specialized contracting support to 374th Airlift Wing, 5th Air Force, U.S. Forces Japan, and U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps installations in Japan. Single source authority on mainland Japan for utilities, telecommunications and transportation including an 18,000-person master labor contract. Provides staff and contingency contracting support to U.S. Forces Japan and U.S. Army Contracting Command Korea.

374th Logistics Readiness Squadron
Directs logistics for Western Pacific airlift hub. Orchestrates mobilization of wing and tenant units supporting Pacific Command's operations plans. Oversees one of two Pacific Air Forces combat mobility elements. Maintains Pacific Air Forces fuels mobility equipment. Stores over 13 million and issues over 36 million gallons of fuel. Maintains and operates 1,123 vehicles worth $75 million. Manages 26,000 critical supplies and equipment. Processes 57,000 passengers, personal property and cargo shipments.
