HOW TO USE HENNA TO DYE YOUR HAIR:

Henna is a natural and safe alternative to chemical hair dyes. Here are the steps to use henna to dye your hair:

  1. Choose high-quality henna powder from a trusted source. Make sure the henna is pure and free from any additives or chemicals.

  2. Mix the henna powder with warm water in a bowl. The amount of water and henna you use will depend on the length and thickness of your hair. Start with 100g of henna powder and gradually add water until you have a thick, paste-like consistency.

  3. Add lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to the henna mixture. This helps to release the color from the henna and makes it easier to apply. Stir the mixture well.

  4. Apply the henna paste to clean, dry hair using gloves to protect your hands. Start at the roots and work your way down to the ends, making sure to cover all areas evenly.

  5. Once you have applied the henna, wrap your hair in a shower cap or plastic wrap to keep the henna warm and moist. Leave it on for 1-4 hours, depending on the desired intensity of color.

  6. Rinse the henna out of your hair with warm water. Do not use shampoo or conditioner for at least 24-48 hours to allow the color to set.

  7. Your hair may initially look orange or red, but the color will deepen over the next 24-48 hours. Avoid swimming or exposing your hair to direct sunlight for the first few days after dyeing.

  8. To maintain the color, use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Avoid using hot styling tools, as they can fade the color over time.

Note: Henna can stain clothing, towels, and skin, so be sure to protect your clothing and surfaces during the dyeing process.
