If you have been waiting to see Goku power-up yet again, it looks like Dragon Ball Super will soon deliver. The anime is well into its 'Universal Survival' arc, and fans have known for sometime now that Goku would be getting a new Super Saiyan form. And, now, the folks at Shueisha have released a first-look at the transformation.

The latest issue of V-Jump just hit shelves in Japan, and it shows a close-up look of Goku in a brand-new Super Saiyan form. The image, which can be seen below, shows Goku will his traditional Gi completely torn away from his torso. The hero is shown with his hair styled in the Super Saiyan look, but it is still black; There is no change to the hero's hair color this time around. However, there is some note-worthy color changes elsewhere with Goku's look.

The new transformation will give Goku a white-blue aura, and his eyes will undergo a major change. It appears as if his eyes have turned a shade of silver, and fans have already started to speculate about the color swap. Goku's eyes appear to mirror those which Zamasu had, so some are wondering if the silver eyes are meant to indicate that Goku will soon become an actual Kai.

The V-Jump issue did have a short description about the new look, but it doesn't give away anything that will spoil Goku's transformation. Todd Blankenship translated the note which can be found below:

"A certain transformation appears in the latest visual...?! Finally, a visual where Goku faces forward! His eyes shine silver, and he wears a stern expression."

Earlier this year, fans got their first-look at Goku's upcoming transformation thanks to a promotional poster. The folks behind Dragon Ball Super released a poster to celebrate the beginning of the Tournament of Power. The image showed Goku with his back to fans, but his black Super Saiyan hair indicated a new transformation would soon be introduced. There is still no word on when the form will make its debut, but fans are looking forward to seeing just how Goku will unlock the power-up as Dragon Ball Super moves forward.
