Would prefer this to be in windows OS ... Surface duo is a perfect mini tablet like ipad mini in the surface lineup.. No idea why microsoft opted for a android OS which is a total failure... would have been a success under window OS paired with a intel core i3 OR SD high end processor.

give it a few years and this one as 2nd hand may make a perfect emulator-oriented device, I immediately think of the Nintendo ds with that folded screen.

I appreciate your comment was a long time ago, but you are factually incorrect when you describe the photo-taking process on the Duo 1.
1. open phone to tablet mode
2. (here is the key difference) fold back the screen you will not be using as the camera display screen. ie. for a selfie fold back the left screen, for a normal photo fold back the right screen
3. double tap the power button - camera app starts and displays on screen you are facing. No need for flipping gymnastics... no need to unlock phone... rotate phone for portrait/landscape as you would expect.
NOTE: the Duo 2 has a completely different set of photo-taking steps.

When will Microsoft make Surface Duo 3 or something?. A phone with latest technology & OS, I can't wait for it. Microsoft should please come up with decent smart phones this 2023.
