1.first i have to hold s23u pointing exacly on the page i want to scan for about 3-5 sec in order so it is recognized as scannable page.
2. then it takes the picture of the page automatically, and i press "scan" that appears in the bottom of the screen.
3. then new screen appears where i can crop the image
4. then i can press "save" or "discard" the cropped image
5. after pressing save, it saves the picture to the gallery, (it takes around 3 seconds)
How it works on xiaomi document mode:
1. the page that i'm about to scan is highlighted in yellow border.
2. I press ONE BUTTON and its automatically cropped and saved to the gallery.
On samsung to scan one page it takes me about 10 clicks and 15 seconds.
On xiaomi it takes around 2 seconds and 1 click.
Above that, xiaomi can also scan monitor screens or image from the projector, and samsung mostly can scan paper documents

"There is a document scanner in almost every single phone nowadays. Make sure you enabled "scan documents ant text" in camera settings (on one ui 6.1 you can toggle "auto scan" as well) "

Anonymous, 02 May 2024There is a document scanner in almost every single phone no... morei tried around 6 of those scanners, but they are very inaccurate, often make mistakes, display tons of ads, the capture is slow and can't compare to official xiaomi document mode. Maybe if you take one photo of a document every week the cheapo scanner is fine, but if i take sometimes 30+ photos in a row its a big difference.

My s23 ultra keeps on freezing then restarting after all the troubleshooting
- wipe cache partition
- safe mode
- factory reset
- tried flashing via odin
but still issue still persists
This happened after the one ui 6.1 update.
Do you think this is a hardware issue?

Please Samsung just put the ld notification flash light back to us u can put it on top edges of the screen or at back of the phone just bring it back that is the first thing that makes me buy Samsung phones

I bought this phone brand new some months ago, the battery life is ok but the only problem am having is my camera. When ever am snapping a picture that has gold in the background or gold in the item that am snapping, it displays the gold colour as grey or ash, i have tried a lot of settings from the camera, i even reset the camera to its default but all to no avail. My business depends on that camera to make sales, so when ever i snap and send to my customers, they will tell me that the item is no sharp, pls cam someone tell me the positive solution to this cos am tired of it, i sold my galaxy s21 ultra that has an excellent camera just to upgrade to s23 ultra that has 200mp camera, now am so disappointed pls what should i do?

I purchased the phone only 10 days back. Initially battery backup was really good with 7+ hours of SOT. After last update of May 2024 battery life deteriorated drastically. Nkw getting below 5 hours SOT. I have already cleared cache from recovery with no luck. Anyone else facing such issues? Any advice!! 😔

More like users are very bad. Only two companies in the world fixing 0-day issues fast are apple and samsung. Samsung has so many devices and still gives monthly security updates + sometimes new features. One UI is full of features compared to competitors and still they give new feature updates pretty fast. And there is a guy with 0 IT knowledge that says samsung is bad with updates lol

But i prefer 23u.. Don't care about updates..! Samsung updates very bad already and useless many times..

They change their chipset according to the market demand and major competition ( here it is mostly Android but in US,canda etc it is mainly iphones this is the only point I'm sad against sam 💔)
