Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looked in high spirits as she attended a film premiere at Pathe Tuschinski in Amsterdam this evening.
The Dutch royal, 48, who was joined by husband King Willem-Alexander, 52, put on a stylish display as she stepped out in a chic black velvet top, which she teamed with a daring pair of metallic trousers.
She accessorised with a small black clutch bag and silver jewellery, which added to her effortlessly regal appearance.
To complete her look at the screening of Galapagos: Hope for the Future, the mother-of-three wore a striking red lipstick and swept her hair off her face into a loose bun.

The couple were all smiles as they posed for the cameras on the blue carpet of the premiere.
Galapagos: Hope for the Future is the work of Evert Van Den Bos, 65, Alan Miller, 58, Dorian Pieters, 28, Pieter Huisman, 44, and Jochem Van Rijs, 42.
The film explores the undisturbed nature and wildlife within the Galapagos Islands, and inspires viewers to consider a sustainable future.
