Huh? They don't make footstep sounds? that is kind of odd....well i doubt i can change that the Dev's have Pretty much sealed their Crappy Choices down in many ways like for example that idiotic move to make Head shots fatal Every single time! or that you cant shoot while Sprinting i really don't understand why they couldn't have an advanced options tab where you could choose how you would want it i think i am going to make a video where i Talk about all the issues and what should be fixed these guys made allot of terrible game play decisions and sealed it tight so i can barely change any off them but i was able to make it allot more enjoyable tough and have some better voice acting too. but anyway i am not sure at all if i can change the infected walking sounds i however will add that to the What to fix for the mod under hell video so thx for letting me know and il see if i can do something about it but its unlikely.

No problem. It's pretty annoying how they sneak up on me and I can't even tell because their footsteps are silent. The PMC's have some problems too, especially during the stealth sections where they can spot you so easily(though they use the Combine Soldier's AI so that's pretty much self-explanatory). Lazy coding really kills the immersion.

On an unrelated note, I hope there's a way to bring the M4A1 back, it really fits SWAT teams, and it's pretty generic how all of the SWAT officers in the prologue only have the MP5.

your giving me more and more to work with yeah well i think its a script i checked it out it seems like the zombie the zombies feet are simply missing from the game the zombines sound are there tough i can see if i can get some of the generic foot sounds and make their feet make a sound on the ground when they move this could actually work

Yo i can fix it bro its really easy the sound files are just simply missing! for now try and fix it yourself since i am not....mmmm yeah well i can have the problem fixed in a Small sound fix patch yeah i can do that Report other problems you have that are Direct i cant fix cvars that are nailed down so its limited but i can fix Certain problems i will test the foot now!

Oke so get this they do actually walk sometimes and when that happens their footsteps make sounds when they run it does not...........so this is a weird oversight

Right now the technical side is busted if you down load it youl have to fix it yourself its the cfg file i worked it so it uses multiple cores so it runs better however 1 of the setting (i think mat queued 1 or something like that) otherwise it works fine the changes are i changed the game as much to my style as possible however these nobheads decided it was a good idea to nail down these gameplay features in code rather than cvars which is stupid since these features suck like not being able to shoot while sprinting Head shots are always instal kills and other unrealistic stupid decisions they made i tried to circumvent these things but its still a mess regardless i made the movement speed of sprinting really high so its not that much of a pain but your going to slow down constantly to shoot people its really bad i may remove the sprint option and go hl1 style where you have walk and run fast because i have no respect for this mechanic its ******** stupid and just another stupid cod feature that does not belong in half-life games! anyway i raised the health of the soldiers from 30 to 125 and made all the guns really power full for example spas 12 lowered recoil from 25 to 15 made every pellet do 22 damage and have it have 12 shells (that last one is just a F.E.A.R thing rather than anything sensible *lol* i also changed the horrible voice acting of the soldiers and replaced it with my own equal terrible voice! nah just kidding i changed it since found it to be kind of bad and un generic in a bad way Micheal is good but not good enough and the lower pitch and higher pitch is just crap so i replaced it with my own voice however i could not change the skin of the npc's so i couldn't remove the black skin which made things annoying but i guess it can work anyway its just very unrealistic. anyway for the rest i changed the healths of all the other characters... and i am looking into doing the second part but i think the game play may not be good enough to bother since your so limited so i may still release it but it will be allot less thorough than the first set
