Hayden Panettiere spoke about her 9-year-old daughter from Wladimir Klitschko, who lives in Ukraine: she took after her father

Famous American actress Hayden Panettiere has an only daughter, Kaya-Yevdokiya, from prominent Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko. The girl was born on December 9, 2014, and recently celebrated her 9th birthday. She lives in Kyiv, where she moved with her father after her parents' divorce. It happened because of the star mom's drug and alcohol addiction, who returned to illegal substances amid postpartum depression.

Now Panettiere admits that she misses her daughter very much, but the girl continues to live with her father and her grandmother Nadiia, who was mainly responsible for raising her granddaughter. Kaiya-Yevdokiya is kept away from the prying eyes of the public and paparazzi cameras, so little is known about her. However, in a recent interview with E News, the Scream and Get Smart star revealed some interesting details about her daughter's life.

The actress admitted that she and her daughter have one common love and passion – water.

"When I was pregnant, I spent every hour I had off filming in my backyard pool in Nashville, swimming. So my little Sagittarius was born with a love of water. We are very similar in that way," Panettiere said.

In addition, both the star mom and her daughter, as Hayden herself said, are fond of horseback riding. "She inherited my love of riding. So much so that she was ready to gallop from an early age, climbing on her big stuffed hippo and pretending to take part in a race," the actress shared. This hobby was also influenced by the movie Crazy Horse, starring Hayden Panettiere. As her mother recalls, Kaya-Yevdokiya used to watch the movie over and over again.

And if in her childhood her parents were simply touched by the girl's passion for horses, a little later it became clear that this could be her destiny. At least, Panettiere does not believe that her daughter will at some point want to follow in her footsteps and connect her life with creativity, particularly cinema.

"People ask me all the time: "If she wanted to become a singer or an actress, what would you say?" I look at her, it's not her. She doesn't like to perform. She is all about horses... In this respect, she is very similar to me. But she is also a little more reserved. She's very independent, she likes to do her own thing, and she likes to be normal. One of Kaia's biggest complaints to her father right now is that she can't go to school in a car or bus with other kids, she has to go separately," Panettiere commented.

Hayden is glad that her daughter doesn't want to become an actress or singer like her. The star says that looking back at her own experience, where she worked in show business from the age of 8 months, she doesn't want the same fate for her child.

Kaya is very similar to her mother not only in her hobbies but also in her appearance – she has the same blond hair and fair skin. However, she has taken after her father in height (Wladimir Klitschko is 198 centimeters tall, while Panettiere is 153 cm). The actress did not name the exact height of her 9-year-old daughter, but assured that she is "very tall."

Earlier, Panettiere shocked her fans with an unexpected confession: she has been suffering from drug and alcohol addiction since she was 15. It was for this reason that the movie star broke up with Wladimir Klitschko and sent their daughter Kaya-Yevdokiya to Kyiv to be raised by her father. After doctors told the actress that her liver was failing, she made a firm decision to finally give up harmful substances.
