Stephen Fry announced on Twitter that he wed partner Elliott Spencer, posting a photo chronicling one of their first moments as newlyweds. “Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing,” he wrote on Saturday. The happy news comes just two weeks after the 24: Live Another Day actor, 57, posted his plans to wed the 27-year-old writer. “Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag. I’m very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance!” But now that their nuptials have gone public, friends of the pair are sending their congrats. “Bloody hell it’s happened! @ElliottGSpencer has made an honest man of m’col. Love and happiness to all!!” Tweeted House star Hugh Laurie.
