Barcelona appear to have reignited their interest in Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Catalans have been linked with the midfielder previously but those rumors had gone a little quiet again in recent months.

However, Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Barca are once again exploring a move for Rodriguez who will be available on a free transfer.

Financial limitations means Barca will once again look to bring in free agents to strengthen the squad and a new midfielder is believed to be a priority.

Oriol Romeu is expected to be moved on after a difficult time back at Barcelona, while Rodriguez has already hinted he could be set to move away from Betis.

Yet Barcelona aren’t the only team thought to be keen on the Betis man. The report claims Napoli are also keen and may rival Barca for his signature.

Would Guido Rodriguez be a good signing for Barcelona? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
