Vanessa is actually hosting Vogue’s official Met carpet along with La La Anthony, hence her kinda early appearance on the carpet.
Meanwhile, the evening is being cochaired by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King as well as Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Adam Mosseri. The theme? That’d be “Gilded Glamour.”
Confused? As curator and fashion historian Kate Strasdin said while talking about Gilded Age style: “It is very embellished, very exaggerated, very structured.…It feels so upholstered compared to the way that we think about dress now.”
