Christie Brinkley is a Sports Illustrated legend. The model first covered the Swimsuit Issue in 1979 and became a household name when she scored three consecutive covers. Now, for the first time since 2004, the 63-year-old model is appearing in its pages once more (walking on water, it appears, but sure). This time, she brought along her daughters, 31-year-old Alexa Ray Joel (her father is Billy Joel), and 18-year-old Sailor Brinkley Cook (her father is Peter Cook).

"When I turned 30, I was like, 'This is the last time I'm posing in a bathing suit!' When this issue comes out, I'll be 63. I thought 'Those days are over,'" Brinkley tells People, "But to get to do it with my girls, I thought, 'One last go!'"

The three were shot in Turks and Caicos. Sailor is a model signed with IMG and "always wanted to do this" while Alexa, a musician like her father, "couldn't imagine that'd ever happen," according to Brinkley.

Along with showing off her daughters, Brinkley says she posed with hopes to "remove some of the fear of aging."

"This is a real full circle moment for me. I can get very emotional about this. How many years ago, I was that insecure girl? And hoping that I would be good enough for the magazine?," Brinkley recalls in a behind-the-scenes video, "So, to see my daughters having the same thoughts that I had and be able to see them be there on the job is definitely a big moment."

PS–Sailor and Christie are total twins.
