Break the Internet, Miley Cyrus...

Following in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian's infamous naked photo shoot with Paper magazine last November, Miley Cyrus has now followed suit.

And like Kim, she's in her birthday suit.

Miley Cyrus and her pet pig, Bubba Sue, are on the summer cover of Paper magazine, and she's using the opportunity to promote a cause close to her heart.

In the new issue of the magazine, the Wrecking Ball hitmaker insists she is "down with [anything] that's legal" with men or women.

She said: "I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age.

"Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult - anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl."

The 22-year-old singer - who recently split from Patrick Schwarzenegger - also opened up about the time she told her mother she had experienced romantic feelings towards women.

She added to Paper: "I remember telling her I admire women in a different way. And she asked me what that meant. And I said, I love them. I love them like I love boys.

"And it was so hard for her to understand. She didn't want me to be judged and she didn't want me to go to hell. But she believes in me more than she believes in any god. I just asked for her to accept me. And she has."

The cover story also highlights the Happy Hippie Foundation, a nonprofit launched by Miley in May, which is meant to help LGBT and homeless youth.

In Paper's issue, Miley briefly describes her awareness of her own privilege. "I was doing a show two nights ago and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings. I'm standing there with my tits out, dressed like a butterfly. How the fuck is that fair? How am I so lucky?"

This isn't the first time Miley has brought these issues into the spotlight; at last year's VMAs, Miley not only brought a formerly homeless young man named Jesse as her date, she let him accept her award on her behalf so he could speak about his experiences.

For the shoot, Miley joined forces with photographer Paola Kudacki, and the woman behind her We Can't Stop music video, Diane Martel. In addition to her shoot co-star, pet pig Bubba Sue, there was a glass pyramid, some body paint and very little clothing.

Paper magazine informs us that there are more "absolutely insane" photos of Miley on their way - and the new issue hits stands 22 June.
