Jake Pavelka dealt with a house full of drama and scandal while looking for love on “The Bachelor.” And now, the handsome pilot is facing his own personal turmoil.
According to RadarOnline.com, Pavelka is being accused of cheating on his current fiancée – and winner of the final rose – Vienna Girardi after they got engaged on the season finale of the ABC reality show.
Pavelka, 32, reportedly left his relationship with an ex-girlfriend “on hold” when he went off to film “The Bachelor.”
Though his ex was said to believe they were still together, she soon discovered he had popped the question to someone else.
But Pavelka’s commitment to Girardi apparently didn’t seem to matter as he reportedly contacted his ex the day after filming wrapped on the reality show.
A source told Radar he attempted to woo his ex over the next few weeks, convincing her that the 25 women who competed for his love on the show, including Girardi, didn’t mean anything to him.
Pavelka allegedly told his ex that he loved her when they finally met in person.
Girardi may not be so happy to hear about her fiance’s alleged philandering ways since she’s already planning their impending nuptials.
“She called me right after the engagement on the show to ask me if I’d be her maid of honor,” Girardi’s best friend, Miss Florida Rachael Todd, revealed to Radar. “There’s no wedding date yet but they’re like little kids in love.”
She added, “We both just can’t believe how much her life has changed in the last six months. She is just so happy.”
Though Girardi, 23, was unpopular with viewers, the former “Bachelor” said he has no regrets.
“People don’t understand why Vienna and I are together, and that’s okay. I do – and that’s the important thing,” he said on the “After the Final Rose” special.
According to Radar, the couple has moved to Los Angeles while Jake shoots “Dancing with the Stars.”
