thoughts on British Racing Green?

Saw this at my local dealership. I thought I would love it in person but I’m still undecided. What are your thoughts on BRG on a x3MC?

I love your build! How are you liking BRG so far? Would you have gone a different color? Any issues with maintaining the color during the winter?

Also, is yours for sale?

If the BRG here in seattle had tartufo interior like yours then I’d probably be onboard.

How much did you pay for yours?

I agree, BRG is nice. But for $100k that would be a hard pass for me. Check out MGM. It's a much more dynamic metallic color that suits the X3 M better. BRG is great for sedans & classic German coupes.

The color looks good on the car, but it's so wrong on a BMW. BRG belongs on Rover, Lotus and Triumph. Plus, I've heard that it is a bad luck color (in racing).

The markup is real at Seattle. The individual color adds a few thousand bucks, but Seattle BMW also has a few thousand in 'accessories' added to MSRP.
And they load them up with options. The awful looking yellow X3M next to it is over $92k with the M Driver's package.
There's a reason I didn't buy a BMW from either of my local dealers.

I think it looks pretty good. I’m not that old but still feels like yesterday to me, the 90s where every car was very popular in a similar green. I’m sure a green enthusiast can tell me why it was so different, but as someone that has no strong emotions about green, it’s basically the same. So I didn’t like it for a while because I didn’t understand why it was so popular. Now that it’s not too common, it’s cool I guess.
