SHIBUYA CROSSING MAP / SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE

Shibuya Crossing is one of Tokyo's most famous attractions. Every two minutes the lights all change at the same time and pedestrians cross from every direction - at peak times in the late afternoon several thousand will cross during one interval. The crossing was used in the movies 'Tokyo Drift' and 'Lost in Translation' and is a must see spot when visting Tokyo. Shibuya itself is a young persons shopping area with trendy and hipster shops, as well as big name places and department stores. Immediately north of the intersecion is Centa-Gai Street, the main shopping street of Shibuya.

There are lots of Pedestrian only shopping streets in Shibuya, but this is the most famous and the most lively. It's not really so long, but it is usually crowded and a great place to get a location shot.
